Senior Project Manager / Project Manager

In the Senior Project Manager or Project Manager role you will be responsible for the effective & efficient delivery of clients' projects covering the full spectrum of the project life cycle. You will do this by using and adhering to the company systems and processes to ensure that the project is brought in on time and on budget, ensuring that agreed client objectives are met and exceeded. You will have the opportunity to work on small and large scale projects including greenfield & brownfield both here in Australia and Internationally.

As part of the scope of your role you will:

• Plan, coordinate and manage the design, procurement, construction and commissioning of assigned projects and take a leadership role in the preparation of proposals
• Provide strong HSE Leadership - fostering positive behaviours and principles in this area
• Build and maintain sustainable and mutually beneficial relationships with clients throughout the projects and post completion
• Be responsible for scope, time frames and planning, risk management, cost control, quality and commercial management
• Provide clear and focussed leadership to your team

Job Requirements
Project Management (ideally at a senior level) within the Mining and Metals sector will be your key area of expertise and you will hold formal qualifications in either the Metallurgical or Mechanical Engineering disciplines. Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status and/or eligibility for Certified Practising Project Manager (CPPM) will be highly regarded.

With strong demonstrated experience in managing contractors and third party consultants, you will possess effective communication skills and the ability to drive projects to achieve operational and commercial deliverables. You will display a high level of competency in the management of multiple stakeholders within dynamic environments, be able to demonstrate substantial experience in managing large scale projects and project teams as well as experience working with multiple engineering teams. Exposure to business systems such as Oracle will also be an advantage.
