An opportunity exists for Rollingstock Technicians based at our NSW facility. Working under the direction of Test Engineers, these positions will be required for the Testing and Commissioning and Maintenance of passenger rollingstock.
Key Responsibilities:
Testing and commissioning and maintenance of all aspects of completed rollingstock
Carry out fault diagnosis and prepare reports
Ensure compliance of Rollingstock as per company test instructions
Implement corrective solutions.
Undertake training as required
Positions may involve shift work and extended hours when required
To be successful in this role you will require:
Formal trade qualifications in either electrical or mechanical trades.
Ability to fault find electrical/mechanical systems and utilise trouble shooting skills.
Ability to carry out all facets of multi skilled / cross trade functions and undertake training as required.
Ability to use computer interfaces to communicate with various forms of rollingstock
Ability to work unsupervised and be a hands on team player.
Proven ability to organise and prioritise tasks, be flexible and resourceful, proactive with a high degree of initiative and strong communication skills.
