This is a state of the art underground longwall coal operation, are continually trying to improving productivity, new processes and techniques that will improve the overall mining operation.
Efficiency and profitability, while keeping safety are at the forefront of the agenda is the goal
Role:
Reporting to the Longwall or Development Superintendent
Statutory Duties surrounding state legislation
Ensuring compliance to the coal mine safety operating procedures and techniques
Qualifications & Experience
Third (3rd) Class Certificate of Competency (QLD or NSW) Positions in both states
Experience in Longwall or Development
S1, S2, S3
G2
Follow safety procedure while achieving production targets
Experience in similar role in an underground coal mine in Queensland
Ability to mentor, coach and develop team
