Due to increased coal production this open cut mine in the Hunter Valley requires an experienced short term mine planning engineer to join their team.  This technically complex site offers continued learning and development and the opportunity to think outside the square with new techniques.  


Using a sound understanding of truck and shovel mining activities and equipment you will work in the mine planning team to provide technical support to frontline supervisors to maximise this challenging operations and meet short to medium term production targets.


You will have a qualifications in mining engineering with previous experience in an open cut operation with either Drill & Blast or Truck & Shovel Planning and Scheduling.
