Uniquely positioned on the gorgeous North Queensland Coast this Local Council encompasses hotspots destinations Airlie Beach and the famous Whitsunday Island Group      

Building the in house design capabilities of their Engineering Services Department a Skilled Civil Designer is now required to help assist in the design and investigation of services for roads, drainage, water, sewerage and asset infrastructure projects.

You will have a demonstrated consultancy or similar local/state government background with advanced skills in AutoCAD and ideally TAFE level qualification in Civil Engineering. A thorough knowledge of Australian standards and guidelines is also critical.

This position is responsible for assisting in the design and investigation of services for roads, drainage, water, sewerage and asset infrastructure projects.
