Safety Emergency Response Advisor

• FIFO on a 8/6 roster

As the Safety Emergency Response Advisor you will be part of a recognised resource producer with a solid underground operation in the Bowen Basin. The key focus of this position is emergency response training and employ a culture that is safety above all else. 


Your responsibilities will include: 

• Training Emergency response in all aspects of mine rescue
• Coordinate inspections and audits
• Conduct toolbox meetings
• Conduct investigations
• Audits and Gap analysis
• Maintaining and developing current policies and training systems
• Qualifications/requirements 
• Experience in mining in an advisory role (underground is preferred)
• Diploma or cert IV in Health and Safety
• Mine rescue experience
• Great communication and leadership abilities
• Previous experience in a similar role

This can be a FIFO role from most areas in Queensland or residential role that will off relocation assistance. The remuneration package will be desirable for the right individual.
