Outstanding career opportunity with a top 50 ASX listed company within the mining sector for a Finance Manager who has gained with several years experience in a similar position. This organisation has ground breaking multi million dollar projects underway, a dynamic approach and an exciting growth strategy in place, which includes the implementation of enhanced accounting systems and technology.

This opportunity requires proven leadership and people management abilities with the key responsibilities as follows:

• Mentor and coaching capability to lead the team, the company vision and growth strategy by your proven leadership skills
• Demonstrate, again by your leadership, the ability to install corporate values for improved accounting systems and efficient finance processes
• Ensure accounting standards are maintained, corporate and taxation policies adhered to in line with company governance and compliance standards
• Monitor and report to Management the performance of the balance sheet and regular accounting activities such as budgets, expenditure and audits
• Oversee the production of accounting data both internally and externally such as the Group taxation activities, dividend reporting and returns
• Be an ambassador to the team for the positive installation of enhanced systems and procedures including documents, methods and efficiencies
• Demonstrate strong communication, presentation skills and informed information to management and other stakeholders 

This position requires a CPA/CA qualified individual with several years experience specifically gained from within the Mining or Resources sector. You will have energy, enthusiasm; possess strong interpersonal skills at all levels with good exposure of SOX and SAP systems to embrace change.
