Production Supervisor

At a new iron ore project in the Pilbara this leading contractor is currently working with a global mining leader and are seeking Production Supervisors to join their professional team. Working on a 2/1 roster you will work on a FIFO basis from Perth with the option to work DIDO from Newman if you chose to take up your own residence.
                                                           
You will possess previous experience as an open pit production supervisor. People management skills are essential and you will be very comfortable working and managing employees in a team based environment. Although predominately an experience based role, computer literacy is required but extensive production equipment knowledge is most important. The contract covers all aspects of production and your team will be involved in drilling, blasting, crushing and hauling.

Communication skills are a must and it is imperative that you can develop and encourage your team to be proactive and positive.

These positions are permanent and are structured so that  training is ongoing in order to promote internal progression. Generous conditions of employment are available for the right people.

With your extensive open pit experience, ability to work in remote surroundings and your fantastic people management skills you will work together with this contractor to meet all the deadlines and demands of the client.
