A current requirement for the high profile Greenfield underground project has become available. The Lead Electrical Engineer position will Report to the Engineering Manager and be responsible for the, procurement, construction and safe commissioning all within statutory and company requirements.

As the Lead Electrical Engineer your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing electrical systems, processes and documentation necessary to ensure compliance with the Qld CMSHA
• Overseeing the development of the operational aspects of underground mine development and planning
• Overseeing construction and operational activities to ensure that they meet statutory and regulatory requirements, and to ensure that suppliers, consultants and contractors understand and follow systems and procedures

The ideal candidate will hold a Degree or Diploma level engineering qualification and have demonstrated competencies for statutory appointment as Electrical Engineering Manager (EEM).

Your experience within longwall operations, including project work and engineering operations will be critical to your success in your application.
