Due to continued growth the company is currently seeking a Development Superintendent for one of their underground coal projects. This is a top tier company that values their employees. In this critical role you will be responsible for achieving production targets whilst maintaining exemplary safety standards.

Other duties include:

• Supervision of mining personnel
• Development of departmental budgets
• Liaising with senior management
• Developing & implementing continuous improvement initiatives

This is a crucial role to the business and requires a dedicated mining professional that has performed a similar role.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience within underground coal mining
• A Third Class Certificate of Competency
• Relevant qualifications
• Exceptional leadership skills
• An unwavering commitment to safety
• Financial / budgetary skills
