This leading Australian mining company specialises in hard rock gold production and is currently operating the largest site of its kind in Australia. They have a sterling reputation in relation to their commitment to safety, production and team culture and are now seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to complement their team.

Working closely with on-site Power, Water and Maintenance Supervisors as well as  Capital Projects, Mining and Mineral Processing Personnel you will be responsible for the ongoing success of electrical engineering projects.

The main focus of this role will be to provide electrical engineering design, advice and support to their established Power and Water Services teams and to assist in the continued performance, reliability and availability of the operation.

Key areas of expertise include:-

• HV and LV distribution systems
• Water supply control
• Motor & Drives systems
• telemetry systems and,
• ancillary equipment

To be successful in this role you require:-

• Experience in mining, resources, heavy industry or mineral processing
• Diploma of Electrical Engineering
• Further qualification or experience in Project Management
• Proficiency in reading Electrical and Communication drawings
• Excellent Analytical Skills
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite
• Current WA drivers licence
