Director, Minerals & Metals – Saskatchewan

Mining/Minerals & Industry We deliver mines, mineral processing plants and associated infrastructure across some of the world's richest resource regions including Australia, New Zealand, the Americas, Asia and Africa. We provide mining support and infrastructure for surface minerals projects, including ports, heavy rail, haul roads, airfields, camp facilities, buildings, power and water supply services.

Responsibilities

  • We seek a senior PM with minimum 15 years in design and management of projects for the local mining or mineral processing industries.
  • The ideal candidate would possess the necessary leadership skills, contacts and client relationships in the local mining industry to win work and attract people needed to build a vibrant engineering services business.
  • A “seller-doer” type of leader, the successful candidate will actively be involved in business development and project execution.

Qualifications:

  • Must have familiarity with Saskatchewan potash and uranium clients and a strong rolodex of industry contacts must be strong in all aspects of engineering and project delivery, estimating, safety, and be knowledgeable on applicable systems, tools and procedures, and processes
  • must be a good communicator and relationship builder that drives results
  • must perform a variety of tasks and leads and direct the work of others

The position is based in Saskatoon and reports to the Director of Minerals and Metals for Canada West Region.
