Director of Engineering

Client Information

Our client is a leader in the engineering, project and business consulting for the mining and infrastructure industries. They are looking for an Engineering Director for their Mississauga location.

Job Responsibilities

Provide leadership, development, mentoring and leverage high engagement for a large team of multiple disciplined engineers ( team of 25 total)
Utilize strong technical skills and a participate as an Engineer
Manage Engineering Contractor productivity and performance
Support team with operational start up, design and performance testing support
Deliver project engineering deliverables on schedule and within approved budget, while meeting or exceeding corporate targets
Oversee and provide guidance on projects
Support Sales and Tendering objectives in developing new business
Proactively lead timely strategic planning and related change initiatives

Job Requirements

Canadian P. Eng. Designation and Bachelor's Degree in Engineering;
Project Management Professional (PMP) designation an asset
Familiar with international engineering codes and standards,
15 years of progressive Engineering experience
Preference will be given to candidate with an Engineering experience

Remuneration

Base salary depending on experience.
