Financial Analyst

Brief Description

• The Financial Analyst position is responsible for financial planning and analysis for the Aerospace Group. Performs monthly consolidations, forecasting and reporting. Analyzes P&L, Balance Sheet and Working Capital performance and trends for year-over-year and sequential quarterly performance.  Analyzes variance to budget and forecast. Interprets operating results as they effect the financial aspects of the divisions and makes specific recommendations related to profit and working capital improvements.  Leads annual budgeting process and supports strategic planning process.  Assists in communicating and monitoring compliance and reporting requirements as well as supporting the closing process.
• This position is located in Wheeling, Illinois a northern suburb of Chicago.

Desirable Experience, Capabilities and Success Factors

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration is required
• MBA or CPA is desired
• 7+ years of finance experience, in a manufacturing environment a plus
• Strong knowledge of GAAP is required
• Proficiency with Hyperion is preferred
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
