Senior Trenchless Technology Engineer

Overview:

• We're seeking an experienced trenchless technology professional to serve as part of an integrated service delivery team. Interested applicants should have significant engineering experience including preparation of construction contract documents for trenchless projects involving horizontal directional drilling and microtunneling.

• Performs preliminary field investigations to determine feasibility of client specific trenchless project
• Develops work scope, schedule, and budgets
• Reviews data analysis and project deliverables
• Prepares preliminary design and feasibility reports based on field conditions and trenchless methods
• Prepares final design drawings, specifications and estimates for bidding or design-build projects
• Demonstrates ability to oversee projects which could include multiple sites, multiple disciplines, and staff teams
• Assists with in-house training in standard work procedures
• Assists with the development of and modifications to operating procedures

Requirements:

• BS or MS degree in civil engineering, construction management, geotechnical engineering or related discipline
• 7 to 12 years’ experience, preferably with horizontal directional drilling and microtunneling
• Experience overseeing an engineering team in trenchless technology design activities and monitoring the conformance of those activities to the project requirements
• Strong teamwork, leadership and communication skills
• PE registration a plus
• Experience in Design-Build and other Project Delivery Methods a Plus
