Senior Project Manager

Overview:

  • We're looking for an experienced project manager to lead project teams in our Phoenix office. Experience with management of subcontractors, scheduling, staff management, and agency negotiations are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic thinking, proposal preparation, contract negotiation, schedule and financial tracking
  • Manage projects that contain complex, multi-disciplinary or multi-party aspects
  • Development and management of site investigations and remediation including oversight of operations and maintenance and implementation of remedial systems and processes
  • Regulatory applicability reviews (review/interpretation of environmental regulations)
  • Engaging staff in field data collection and interpretation, permit preparation, and completion of monitoring and remedial compliance reports

Requirements:

  • 10 to 12 years of environmental experience managing private sector projects involving site investigations, remediation, regulatory compliance and environmental permitting for groundwater, soil, soil vapor, air and/or waste
  • Demonstrated ability and interest in business development
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geology or environmental sciences.  Master's preferred.
  • Applicable professional registration
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project preferred
  • OSHA 40-hr. HAZWOPER training preferred but not required. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of regional technical regulations for site remediation is a plus
