Senior Structural Engineer — Mining Project

This highly successful international design consultant currently employs over 7,500 employees, and occupies 180 offices globally. They are seeking a self motivated experienced Senior Structural Engineer, to join their team.

In this exciting role, you will be given the opportunity to manage projects, co-ordinate and distribute tasks to drafters and project/design engineers.  

Duties include:
  • Managing projects from conceptual design to completion
  • Feasibility, concept and detailed design of structural and infrastructure projects
  • Liaising with clients and authorities
  • Apply SPACE GASS structural design software and MS Office software to the project
  • Perform all assigned activities in accordance with Civil/Structural discipline policies, procedures and standard methods of operation
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior and mid-level engineers.  
Ideally you will have: 
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering
  • Significant experience in large scale mining projects, preferably in Australia
  • Extensive local design experience that includes Steel and RC 
  • Design office and site supervision experience
  • MIE Aust, CPEng Registration
  • Excellent communication skills
