Cost Controller

Our company has recently identified the need for a Cost Controller to join our busy Projects team. This position will report to the Lead Project Cost Engineer and will be involved with the following responsibilities across an assigned area of our projects.

Role Responsibilities
  • Reviewing and consolidating Projects' data for reporting
  • Preparing, updating and monitoring cost curves for expenditures and commitments
  • Cost forecasting by assisting, analysing and challenging Package Assembly estimates
  • Assisting, reviewing and adjusting Project Control guidelines, procedures and flowcharts
  • Understanding project coding and liaising with project users
Qualifications and experience required
  • An Accounting degree or equivalent
  • 5 years experience in the engineering or construction industry
  • Competent in CMS and SAP
  • Excellent spreadsheet and database skills
  • Good time management skills and the ability to prioritising
  • Excellent communication skills with people at all levels
