Your main responsibilities will include supporting the operations in developing and implementing mining plans and strategies aligned with organisational objectives. You will also be working towards maximising utilisation of assets, improvement opportunities identified and implemented. The role also includes annual budgeting, mentoring and coaching of other members of your team. Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, you will play an integral part of their strategic team. 
 
You will have a degree in Mining Engineering and substantial experience in strategic planning for underground mines. Strong leadership skills and experience in mentoring and development of a technical team is essential.
