About the Company:

Responsibilities of the mine engineer include:
Maintaining and planning the operation and program of the mine.
Overseeing the procurement and operational activities of the project.
Providing support to the management and supervisory staff on technical and engineering issues.
Planning and organizing the project resources and also maintaining control and providing leadership on the project to ensure the project runs smoothly and objectives are met.
 
 
Requirements of the mine engineer include: 
Engineering qualification which is relevant to the role.
A minimum of 2 years mining engineering experience.
Must have a strong focus on safety and environmental issues.
Excellent communications skills and a proven track record in liaising with senior management and operational staff.
Computer literate.
