Geologist
My client is a very well established coal mining organization who is presently undergoing rapid expansion plans and is now looking for a Geologist to join their operations throughout Queensland and New South Wales. As an organization they value their employees and are always looking to improve their business and continuously develop their staff and reward people for their hard work. This is great opportunity for a Geologist who is looking for a new challenge with a great company.
Responsibilities of the Geologist:
Collect and interpret geological data.
Overseeing exploration plans.
Evaluating data.
Identifying ground for exploration.
Geological mapping and prospecting.
Producing technical reports.
Requirements for the Geologist role are:
Tertiary qualification in Geology or related discipline.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Computer literate with Microsoft office suite.
A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
Good working knowledge of Geology software.
Must have experience working on coal.
Candidates must have the right to live and work in Australia.
There is an excellent remuneration package available to the successful candidate.
