A diversified exploration and mining company, with headquarters based out of Canada, are currently seeking experienced exploration geologists with porphyry geology experience to join their exploration office in Perth. This office services the Asia-Pacific region for numerous ongoing exploration projects in various stages of development including project generation, drill programme execution and target definition, predominantly based from their Perth office with occasional travel on a campaign basis.
The organisation prides themselves in bringing onboard the best talent in the market place in order to allow autonomy in the role and provide ownership of projects to senior employees under the management of the GM for Asia-Pacific. Staff hold the potential of working on international projects throughout Asia but also working closely with other offices across the Americas, Europe and Africa.
Due to a number of exploration targets focused on Porphyry systems my client is seeking exploration and senior geologists with experience of exploring these geological systems to compliment the existing team and grow with the organisation. The successful candidates will be involved in all aspects of exploration geology including target generation, drill programme development, exploration management and resource estimation.
In order to be successful in this position applicants should hold upwards of 4 years experience working with porphyry systems and anywhere up to 20 years experience in exploration. A number of positions across a variety of levels are available. This experience will be complimented by strong commitment to best practise in safety, environmental compliance and community liaison.
