About our Client
My client is a market leader, offering a range of consumables to the mining and construction sector. Due to rapid growth in their range of drilling products for surface / underground mining they are seeking an experienced technical salesperson to join their Newcastle based team.


Job Description
As a sales engineer you will be expected to strategically build and maintain business relationships within the open pit and surface drilling market. Your focus will be on promoting drilling products and consumables to a range of audiences in the coal space, mainly the mid to large sized mining companies.


The Successful Applicant
The successful applicant will be a highly experienced drilling candidate with a great depth of knowledge of the Hunter Valley, Coal mining space. You will preferably be based in the Newcastle area and already have contacts within the major mining companies and drilling contractors market. Ideally you will have hands on experience in open pit and surface drilling and understand the importance of building and maintaining strategic business relationships in the mining arena. Relative degrees and or trade equivalents will be highly regarded.
