Job Description
As Cost Engineer, you will be a key member of the project controls team and will have the accountability for the following;
Tracking quantities and changes to quantities.
Managing the change control process.
Managing contingency.
Cost Analysis, progress monitoring, cash flow & earned value reporting.
Understanding scope of work and definitive estimates.
The Successful Applicant
To be considered for this role you must have:
Relevant Engineering degree or equivalent 3 - 5 years experience across large scale construction projects related to the mining, oil gas, general infrastructure and heavy industries.
5 -10 years specific cost control experience within a projects environment.
Sound Knowledge of Cost Control systems and processes.
Strong spreadsheet and database skills.
Developed communication and management skills.
