About our Client
This company are an ambitious and acknowledged ASX listed organisation who hold a strong emphasis on the exploration and provision of gold. As a result of their continued growth and success, the company is now seeking to employ an experienced Exploration Geologist to join them in this exciting phase of development.
Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Resource Geologist, the Project Exploration Geologist will play an integral role within the team. Key accountabilities will include:
The formulation of technical geological reports
Compilation and analysis of data; providing critical review and determining target generation
Ensuring the accurate design and implementation of exploration programs
Supervision of field assistants and contractors to oversee RC, Diamond and resource definition drilling
Providing support to more senior personnel as and when required
The Successful Applicant
With tertiary qualifications in Geology, the successful applicant will have demonstrated previous experience within the Australian mining industry as an exploration geologist. Proficiency in the use of Surpac, MapInfo and other related geological software is essential to be successful in this role, and those with archaean gold experience will be highly regarded. Only those with the appropriate rights to work in Australia and who wish to work residentially in Kalgoorlie should apply for this role.
