Job Description
As the Business Development Manager for our clients Temperature Control division you will be instrumental in growing the revenue and product awareness within the East Coast region including New Zealand and Pacific. Reporting to the National Business Development Manager you will be responsible for;
Identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities within the East Coast, New Zealand and Pacific regions
Providing technical advice and support to customers
Developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies for the division
Maintaining strong relationships with the customer base, including regular site visits
Achieving and reporting on monthly sales targets
The Successful Applicant
To be successful within this role you will possess the following attributes:
Minimum 5 years sales or sales management experience
A background in electrical engineering, automation or instrumentation and ideally an understanding of temperature control
Experience selling or renting capital equipment
A proven track record securing key clients within the mining and industrial sectors
Established networks within the East Coast, New Zealand and Pacific regions
The ability to work autonomously to achieve agreed sales targets
Excellent personal presentation and communication skills
Ability to travel within Queensland, New Zealand and the Pacific regions to service the customer base
