This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to build the Townsville region.
Job Description
As an Account Manager within our clients growing organization, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager you will have the opportunity to build key relationships within the Townsville region. With a focus on industrial tools and drilling products you will be located in Townsville, Brisbane or Cairns and be prepared to travel to cover your region. The key responsibilities of the role include;
Building and maintaining a strong customer base within the region
Provide hands on technical advice and support to customers
Seek new business opportunities and up sell to the current customer base
Achieve monthly sales targets
The Successful Applicant
Ideally the successful candidate will posses the following attributes;
Strong sales background, preferably within mining or related industry
Technical knowledge of drilling, drilling consumables and tools for the underground and surface mining industries
Establish, or the ability to rapidly establish strong networks within the region
Proven ability to seek and capitalize on new business opportunities
Excellent personal presentation and communication skills
