An exciting job opportunity exists within one of Queensland’s major Coal Mines in the Bowen Basin Region for a Longwall Coordinator.  An attractive salary, housing assistance and a work life balance working a 5:2 roster are on offer with this role.
 
Reporting to the Development Superintendent you will plan and coordinate all mechanical maintenance activities in the Longwall Panel to provide the availability, reliability and performance of equipment, necessary to meet the development driveage plan. As a successful applicant you will assist in meeting safety and production targets through scheduling and coordinating the longwall mechanical activities.
 
Relevant Trade Qualifications in a Mechanical trade or Mechanical Engineering and development mining experience are essential requirements of this role.  As a successful applicant you will have S1, S2 and S3 competencies and effective communication and organisational skills will allow you to successfully manage multiple tasks at one time.
