This group of mining operations is 100% owned and operated by a North Queensland based company. The business is accelerating their operational activity and growing their support team in the Townsville office. 

A Finance Manager is required to take on a fundamental role in the leadership team. Reporting to the General Manager and a CFO, you will be responsible for the day-to-day financial management of the North Queensland operations. This will include managing financial and statutory requirements, the management reporting process and overseeing the transactional function of the team. Your role will impact on business performance, through the provision of variance reports, performance analysis, budgets, forecasts and identifying opportunities for growth and development. 

We are seeking a qualified Accountant with Mining Industry experience. You will be required to lead and drive a small team of accountancy staff, so demonstrated management experience will ensure results. A new position in the Townsville office, you will be passionate about implementing processes and procedures, whilst ensuring compliance.
