Senior Reservoir Engineer - Brisbane

An opportunity is available to join a major East Coast oil and gas operator in the role of Senior Petroleum Engineer.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to be part of an industry leading team with a focus on CSG.

The position will provide reservoir engineering input to reservoir characterization studies including subsurface reservoir model construction, history matching and prediction studies.

Duties will include, but are not limited to;

• Monitoring of reservoir performance
• Develop and maintain tools for reserves and resource estimation
• Identify, recommend and justify strategies for data acquisition to support characterization activities
• Support hydraulic fracture team in monitoring reservoir/fracture program
• Work closely with geo-scientists to develop the reservoir models

Suitable applicants will have;

• Tertiary qualification in Petroleum Engineering
• Minimum 10 years experience
• Excellent knowledge of reservoir engineering principles
• Significant reservoir simulation experience

A salary range of $175,000 - $220,000 + Bonus is available for this role depending on background and experience.
