We are looking for a
Senior Mine Geologist with at least 5 years open pit experience, with the ability to manage and mentor a team.
This is an outstanding opportunity to lead a great team in both development and production duties, while a 8/6 FIFO roster ex Perth allows you to keep a city lifestyle.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Contribute to adherence and continuous improvement of site safety systems
- Provision of effective support and supervision to team of geologists
- Assessment and provision of advice to optimise the extraction of target ore
- Planning and scheduling of development drilling programs
- Mentoring of juniors
You will have the following experience and skills:
- Tertiary qualification in Geology
- Minimum 5 years experience
- Commitment to safety requirements
- Good knowledge of geological softwares
- Effective communication and people management skills
- Database experience
