Underground Mining Engineer

I have a vacancy for an Underground Mining Engineer with a global gold producer on their newest gold mine.

Reporting to the Mine Superintendent your responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking specific project work based on the technical & operational aspects of the mining operation;
- Providing input into the mine planning function as required;
- Mine scheduling;
- Drill and Blast;
- Completing ring designs & designs for service holes, raise bores for slots & long hole rises for slots,
- Completing stope preparation & charge plans;
- Completing task observations on underground operators / contractors & undertaking frequent inspections of active production areas;
- Monitoring contractor performance & provide assistance with reviewing mining contractor claims;
- Complying with, and monitoring, safe working practices to ensure that statutory requirements, company regulations & standards are met
