This mining consultancy are currently operating a couple of high profile sites in the Bowen Basin and have a clear idea of what they are doing long term. A clear target of this business is to increase their market presence whilst maintaining clear structures and zero harm sites.


OCE roles are in general much of a muchness. What you will be looking for are certain standards and practices that make the position more attractive. Firstly, the roster is highly suited to those that like to get away. The mine site is also not far from the coast and you will also get 5 weeks annual leave.


The mine itself is run as a business where culture is of high importance. Culture in this mining company is all about how things are done and how you do them. No attitudes and no bravado.


OCE's (Shift compliance coordinators) will be expected to have:

• Open Cut Examiners certificate of competency
• Minimum of 2 years as an OCE
• S1, 2, 3, and G2
• Zero harm history
• Strong Background experience in Open Cut Coal Mines

On offer at this relatively newly formed mining company is a commute allowance, roster allowance, annual leave, lifestyle roster and of course a fairly reasonable base salary. You will stay in a great camp facility and within a great little town.
