With this project in the construction phase, there is an urgent need for Mechanical Design Engineer to come on board and make a real impact. Working for such a globally recognised EPCM is not an opportunity to be missed.
General duties and responsibilities will be to:
· You will have to act as a technical advisor to the major contractors on site
· To be able to assist with any design alterations or design faults
· Planning and Scheduling for the overall completions on mechanical progress of the project
· Guidance and mentoring to site and project engineering staff
As this is a major materials handling project, all applicants must show a proven track record in working on large scale mining projects and for the client or EPCM.
As an ideal candidate you will have:
· Tertiary qualification in relevant discipline (Mechanical)
· You MUST have a proven track record in Heavy Industrial Construction Projects preferably mining/materials handling
· At Least 5 years EPCM experience
· An Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
