This organization's Brisbane office requires a talented and dedicated Principal Civil Engineer to provide technical guidance and lead a team of professional Civil Engineers and Designers for sustainable marine projects within the global mining & resources sector.

To be successful in this role, you will be tertiary qualified civil engineer who has worked in a similar role within a large EPCM or design consultancy. With 10 years of professional experience (with at least 5 years in the Australian market) you will have detailed project design experience with large sized projects including port expansions and coastal structures such as jetties, wharves and breakwaters.

The ideal applicant will have a thorough understanding of Australian industry codes & specifications and will a strong working knowledge of construction principles and the ability to carry out construction phase audits on designs and civil works.

CPEng and RPEQ accreditations are essential in this leadership role.
