Part-time Payroll Officer

Based in the CBD, this mining firm has multiple mine sites throughout Australia. This organisation has offices in 2 countries and is in production currently. About the Role: 
In this role you will be responsible for calculating and processing the payroll 85 staff members. The successful applicant will be required to process all employee changes within the system such as secondments, cessations, leave calculations etc. Key elements of this role include reconciling payroll, payroll tax, insurance and superannuation payments. There is an opportunity to implement a new timesheet system. This role requires the successful applicant to work 30 hours a week.


Key Skills and Requirements:
The successful applicant for this role will have over 3 year's payroll experience. Ideally you will have exposure to a recognised Payroll software, but this is not essential. Experience with the end to end payroll process is essential. Skills required for the role include excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task and good organisational skills.
