Trainee Project Manager

Our client is an established civil contractor specializing in sub-surface service installation throughout both the Adelaide metro area and regional SA. Despite a turbulent year for civil contractors in Adelaide, our client continues to grow in size and capability, leading to the following permanent opportunity within their project management team:
 
 
Trainee Project Manager
 
 
Reporting to the project management team, your role will be to assist with the following key activities:
 
·         Contract review, estimating & tender preparation
·         Attending site meetings and tracking progress of projects
·         Liaising with onsite staff and performing site duties as required
·         Client liaison
·         Logging data & project information & tracking industry opportunities
 
 
To be successful in this role you will have previous civil experience in a site or management position (including foreman & supervisor roles), relevant industry certifications, competent computer skills, a stable work history and a current driver’s licence. Degree qualifications are desirable but not essential.  Our client is willing to consider candidates at all stages of their career as drive and aptitude are paramount.
