Health & Safety Compliance Advisor - Utilities & Construction

Our client is a major contractor experiencing continued growth in the power and utilities sectors.  As a result of this increased workload they are now looking for an experienced Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality advisor (HSEQ) to join there already established team based in the South East.
 
We are looking for candidates who hold a tertiary qualification in OH&S, engineering or construction and are able to:
 
Develop, implement and audit health, safety and environmental systems. 
Promote policies and processes
Provide frontline advice
Conduct internal and participate in external audits
Coordinate internal/external training sessions
Develop and implement safe operating procedures
Manage and coordinate risk assessment and corrective actions
Collate monthly OHS data and report to senior management
 
You will need
Experience in utilities or construction industry (gas or electric) - essential
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Working knowledge of Health, Safety & Environmental Systems
Good computer skills
Valid driving licence
