General Foremen - Top Tier - Structures/Finishes

The top end of the construction market is gaining momentum and this construction group is the crème de la crème of top tier builders and have secured two high rise residential projects commencing in the first quarter of 2012 hence are seeking General Foreman with core experience across Structures and/or Finishes. With a diverse project portfolio in hand across health, major office spaces, high rise residential and mixed use developments this group has ample work in hand and offers genuine career opportunities in tandem with stability.
 
 
In these roles you will oversee designated trades on a section of these major landmark projects and be directly responsible for driving progress and coordinating the subcontractor team to reach program, quality & safety targets. The company has an outstanding record on major projects and you must have the ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment and drive the program to ensure these projects meet the expectations of their clients. Your ability to take ownership of your task and area of the project will be key to this result.
 
 
To be considered for these roles applicants must have a strong pedigree in the Victorian construction industry, experience on $50m+ projects is essential as is a stable job history. Trade qualifications coupled with supervisory experience is also a must, and with a commitment to best practise in OH&S, IR and Environmental and Quality Systems you will be required to demonstrate this.
