Job Description
The Area Project Engineer (APE) is responsible for managing the designated or nominated area of the Project with regards to the scope, schedule, budget and contractual aspects of designated work packages. You will plan, direct and coordinate activities to ensure that goals or objectives of the project are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and to budget. Key areas of focus are port infrastructure and bulk material handling systems. This position reports to the overall Project Manager.

The Successful Applicant

• Engineering degree or equivalent relevant to the scope of work; and 
• Eight years professional experience in project engineering and project management of mining / process projects (iron ore experience highly desirable). 
• Exposure to bulk material handling projects (Greenfield or Brownfield) highly desirable. 
• Strong technical knowledge of resource related infrastructure: earthworks, drainage, underground utilities and hydrology / hydraulics.
