About the Job
Co is a major participant in the global mineral sands sector and is involved in the exploration, project management, operations and marketing of zircon and titanium based products. With a head office in Perth, we also have existing operations in Western Australia, Victoria, South Australia and the USA.
We are seeking the services of a qualified and motivated Shutdown Planner to join the Operations Team at the Hamilton Mineral Separation Plant.
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent you will be responsible for communication and management of the planning and scheduling phases of all shutdowns at the MSP, as well as having a secondary role in managing small projects on behalf of the Hamilton MSP Maintenance Team.
Key expectations of this role are:
- Strong commitment to Health & Safety, including Risk Assessment & Management
- Previous Planning, Scheduling and Shutdown Planning experience in a mining or processing plant environment
- Effective working knowledge of SAP as a CMMS and MS Project for Gantt Chart development
- Excellent communication skills
- Contractor Management and record keeping
- Financial forecasting and review
- Self-starter with good organisational and time management skills
- Small project management experience considered an advantage
