The Client
Our client is a major coal producer in central Queensland with diversified and profitable assets. They currently have aggressive expansion plans for both mining and processing capabilities. They are seeking key staff to play critical roles in delivering their pipeline of projects. Our client is well regarded in central Queensland as an employer of choice.


The Role
The primary focus of this role is to maximize the value of the Open Pit Operation by providing optimal mid term mine plans and activities to ensure that coal quality and production targets are achieved safely and efficiently.


About You
To be successful in this role you will possess:


Relevant tertiary qualifications
Mine planning software i.e. Vulcan, XPAC, 3dDig
Demonstrated Mine Planner Experience within Open Cut Mining (preferably in Coal)
Exceptional communication skills
