Satellite Branch Manager

Company specialising in Rental, Repairs and Sales of Platforms, Telehandlers and accessories to all facets of the construction, industrial, transport, entertainment and mining industries has an outstanding vacancy open for a Satellite Branch Manager.

The successful incumbent will be responsible to achieve strategic company Business objectives by implementing effective tactics in line with company Procedures and policies within an area of responsibility. This position is aimed at fulfilling all satellite branch management functions in the organization within a specified Region, through effective identification and application of resources. The incumbent will manage the operation and will direct the activities of all departments through the relevant subordinates.

Requirements:

• Grade 12/Std 10 certificate or relevant NQF level 4 qualifications
• Degree in business related technical disciplines (BTech or Diploma), will be an advantage
• Experience in Contracts / Project Management and or heavy plant equipment will be an advantage
• At least 5 years experience in a managerial position
• Code 08 /EB Driver’s License
• Develop strategies to ensure branch profitability
• Manage region and employees effectively to achieve optimal performance
• Plan and execute an annual budget
• Cash flow management, expense control
• Debtors management
• Actual vs budget analyses and reports
• Ensure that overall plan complies with Company Strategies
• Implement and maintain a rolling forecast of the income
• Ensure legal compliance
• Allocate resources in terms of maximum return
• Machine utilization
• Machine forecasting
• Stock forecasting and control
• Responsible of movement of equipment
• Monitors and directs all Regional rental company operations
• Adhere to, execute and enforce all company policies, procedures, rules and regulations
• Monitor and review Regional business performance through daily, weekly, monthly and yearly reports
• Update GM in terms of agreed key performance indicators of operation
• Take overall responsibility for customer service
• Maintains customer relationship standards
• Recruitment and motivation of Regional rental company staff
• Develops and monitor employee training programme
• Optimise and control company inventory
• Maximise the use and effectiveness of all company assets
• Ensure that all licensing and regulatory requirements are met
• Ensure that all the supporting assets are properly serviced and maintained
• Ensure credit management criteria of the business is adhered to insurance, invoicing
• Manage hire desk and admin processes, ie contracts,
• Monitor customers complaints
• Monitor customer satisfaction
• Identify training programmes to promote staff development technical and service standards
• Implement and control an Occupational health and safety standards
• Must possess customer Service relation skill
• Ensure that any user of any piece of equipment has the appropriate skills, training and licensing
