Electrician

Multi-disciplinary Engineering, Mining and Construction Enterprise have a fantastic position available for a qualified Electrician for their Middelburg branch. Only South African citizens, who are suitably qualified, live in the applicable area and meet the requirements of the position are eligible to apply for this vacancy.

The successful incumbent will be responsible to coordinate and control the set-up, work in progress and completion of specialized task activities associated with medium /low voltage electrical installation, maintenance and repair including, monitoring and correcting support personnel productivity and performance and, attending to routine/general administrative recording requirements contributing to the accomplishment of departmental objectives.

• Matric/ Grade 12 certificate
• Must have a valid drivers license and own vehicle
• Qualified Artisan – Section 13 Trade Test Qualification
• Wireman’s Licence
• 5-10 years electrical experience
• Maintain and repair on all electrical systems
• Electrical fault diagnosis and testing on a wide variety of vehicles and plants
• Must understand and solve faults by using electrical circuit diagrams
• Must be able to carry out installation, maintenance and repairs on equipment
• Must be able to install electrical accessories and ancillary equipment
• Must be proficient with administration duties
• Willing to work continuous operation shifts and overtime as and when required
• Must be medically fit
