Electrician - Mechanic

Job Description:

• Aerotek is currently seeking for two full time Electricians -Service Equipment Mechanics in Elko, Nevada.
• The Electrician Service Heavy Equipment Mechanic will be repairing and servicing heavy equipment and mobile mining equipment at mining sites and industrial facilities.
• The Electrician/Heavy Equipment mechanic MUST have previous working experience at mining sites, coal mines, or quarry's; and must have a strong Electrical and Mechanical background.
• The Electrician /Service Mechanic /Heavy Equipment mechanic must have experience with high voltage and must have a solid background in repairing large Heavy surface equipment (Shovels, excavators, dozers, loaders, crusher, AC/DC trucks and mobile mining equipment).
• The ideal candidate would be someone with at least 5-10 years of solid work history as a Electrician of AC/DC mobile equipment with a strong background in surface mining equipment and must have a solid knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems and be able to perform a wide variety of electrical-mechanical repairs in the field.
• We are seeking for two mechanics with a stable work history and very good people skills, someone with the ability to work with a wide variety of heavy equipment.
• This position will require to operate a company, the candidates must have a current driver license, and a clean driving record; the candidates must be willing to submit to a drug screen and criminal background check as well.
• Pay $30+/hour, plenty of OT and full benefits as well a relocation package and a retention bonus.
• This job is not a contract or temporary job and it wouldn't be a good fit for a traveling or contract mechanic!
