Financial Controller

Job Description:

Multinational firm engaged in manufacturing, distribution and sales, wishes to recruit an experienced professional to further strengthen its operations. Responsibilities include running the day-to-day of all Finance and Accounting activity.

Requirements:

Maximum age 40 years

Responsibilities:

Internal Control procedures in place
Management and tracking of company’s cash flows and balance sheet.
Management and compliance with local and US GAAP accounting policies.
Liaison with operations supervisors, local & regional management, bankers, and the U.S. Head Quarters
Tax planning and treasury.
Supervision and management of business accounting, costing, payroll, commissions, accounts payable and branch reporting.
Effective coordination of processes and business initiatives across functional and sales groups without formal reporting relationships.
Annual budgeting, annual and monthly P&L and cash planning and forecasting.
Ongoing liaison with auditors and various statutory agencies and ensuring all statutory reporting requirements are met.
Business analysis and various ad hoc projects.
Timely financial close and reporting. Preparation of financial statements, including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flows.
Management and compliance with local taxes regulations and authorities.

Qualifications:

College degree in Accounting preferred or Finance with CPA or equivalent. MBA a plus, not required.
5+ years hands-on experience in Accounting and Finance including manufacturing and distribution.
Hands on experience in Controller position.
Strong experience with costing and inventory tracking/management. US GAAP experience a plus.
Ability to engage in additional duties and challenges as the company continues to grow.
Strong analytical skills.
Advanced Excel and MS Office skills a must. Experience with data querying tools (Access or equivalent) a plus.
Oracle or ERP systems experience.
Ability to communicate clearly with upper management, peers, internal clients (sales) and direct reports.
Initiative and integrity are key requisites to this management position.
Strong interpersonal and management skills.
Self-starter, quick learner.
Strong leadership.
Track record of managing teams and proven ability to lead effectively.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
