Job Description:
- [Company] is currently seeking experienced individuals for a Underground Mine Engineer position. The hiring company is a gold mining and exploration company located in Yerington, NV.
- As an Underground Mine Engineer, responsibilities will include but are not limited to overseeing the surface and shaft sinking activities of the shaft sinking contractor related to the East Underground Access Shaft, coordinating with the contractor and procurement manager for supply and delivery of materials required to execute the shaft sinking contract and tracking contractor’s progress against plan and report progress and variations at weekly project coordination meetings.
- Applicants must have 5 - 10 years of underground mining experience and extensive field experience or technical knowledge of mining. Qualified candidates will have knowledge of project management and past experience working on shaft sinking projects.
