Remediation Environmental Engineer
Job Description:
- Our Client is looking for a remediation environmental engineer to join their consulting firm. This person will specialize in Environmental Consulting and Engineering services, including investigation and remediation services, environmental due diligence (Phase I and II ESAs) Property Condition Assessments, industrial hygiene services, and underground and aboveground storage tank removals, installations, and permitting.
Qualifications:
- Experience with Autocad
- Experience with Retail/ Industrial Projects
- 60-85k yr.
- Experience with environmental remediation system operation and maintenance, groundwater and soil vapor monitoring, and familiarity with common remediation technologies; system design and installation experience a plus
- Environmental due diligence investigations and related research
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of environmental investigations and of environmental regulations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Flexibility to work in a team environment and be an individual contributor
- Must be a self-starter, resourceful, and have the ability to work productively and independently on multiple projects at a time under strict deadlines with guidance from senior staff
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Geology, or closely related field required; on track for professional licensure (PE or PG) a plus
