O & M Specialist I

Job Description

  • Works in direct support of the Integrated Operations Center (IOC) Performance Management Portal implementation team and Operations Center staff.
  • Works as part of a team coordinating project operations strategies and activities.
  • Responsible for monitoring and developing reports in a 24/7 Operations Center supporting [Company] activities in the field.
  • Responsible for assisting in the development of Award Fee Evaluation - Self Assessments.
  • Responsible for collecting operation metrics.
  • Maintains historical project documentation.
  • Conducts deployment planning and assists in the management of Rapid Deployment events.
  • Monitors and tracks SITREPs and SIRs.
  • Participates as a member of the Crisis Management Action Team.
  • Prepares reports and confers with manager/supervisors to obtain data required for planning activities, such as new commitments, status of work in progress, and problems encountered.
  • Organizes resources to ensure effective production of goods and services.
  • Coordinates activities of departments with related activities of other departments to ensure efficiency and economy.
  • Ensures reports and records on department activities are provided accurately and timely.
  • Performs all work safely and in accordance with [Company] Safety Practices, actively works to improve safety in the work place, and if/when supervising others is responsible for their safety and the enhancement of their safe work behaviors.

Basic Job Requirements

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills. Excellent computer skills with scheduling programs, MS Office Suite, and databases.

Other Job Requirements

  • Must be familiar with the "Contractor in the Battlefield" perspective.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications Prior military and/or contingency operations experience preferred.
