Utility/Helper-Manufacturing

Job Description

• [Company] Corporation located in Aurora, OH has openings for a 2nd shift manufacturing utility/helper. The Aurora facility currently operates on a 24/5 operation schedule.
• Some of the job responsibilities include: monitor quality and package the product for shipment while in production mode; assist the line operator in setting up the extrusion line and associated equipment in preparation for the production run; aid the operator in starting the line; assist in completing production run - including monitoring and testing product; perform end-of-run tasks, including tagging and removing product; sets up and runs yarn preparation equipment; assists in maintenance and changeover of machinery; keeps work area clean and free of hazards; participates in continuous improvement activities; follows all company procedures and performs job in a safe manner. Manufacturing experience preferred. Mechanical aptitude preferred. Must have high school diploma or equivalent; must be authorized to work in the United States; must be able to read tool sheets and work instructions. In general, must be able to lift approximately 50 pounds. Must be able to continually stand, bend, squat, twist, reach above shoulder, reach forward, and move between machines.

Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)

• Manufacturing experience preferred. Mechanical aptitude preferred. Must have high school diploma or equivalent; must be authorized to work in the United States; must be able to read tool sheets. In general, must be able to lift approximately 50 pounds. Must be able to continually stand, bend, squat, twist, reach above shoulder, reach forward, and move between machines.
